Victory! Litter bin agreed for Dalling Road Open Space

For some time I have been pressing the Council to place a litter bin in the Dalling Road Open Space.

Plastics bottles, cans and bottles are regularly left behind the bench there.

After much delay the Council have finally agreed to do this.

Hurrah!

Credit for this overdue decision – can anyone say when the bin will be installed/erected ? – is due to Richard Winterton of the Brackenbury Residents Assoc. whose lobbying of Steven Cowan produced the undertaking . We do all need , I’m sure, to see it really happens soon. When it does , private money for fresh planting and another bench should then be ‘unlocked’.
